Dunmore Wood, a 72.41-hectare property, is situated within a Designed Landscape and features a ruined manor house to the east. The wood is a mix of managed and natural areas, with 14.20 hectares of high-yielding Sitka spruce planted in 2011, and 18.51 hectares of Sitka spruce that was felled in 2017 and is now regenerating with mostly birch. The property has a strong record of producing fast-growing crops and also boasts an impressive mixed woodland with a variety of tree species, including large Douglas fir, Scots pine, yew, Monkey Puzzle, larch, and broadleaves. Additionally, the property features three ponds and a hermit's cave/ice house, adding to its natural beauty and diversity.
