This 223-hectare commercial forest is located on a coastal hillside and features a mix of coniferous and broadleaf species. The forest was originally planted in the 1960s and 1970s, but has undergone significant restructuring over the past decade, with felling and replanting completed between 2013 and 2019. The current productive timber area is 140.58 hectares, with Sitka spruce making up 86% of the commercial crop. The young crop is exhibiting good growth rates and tree form, and the forest includes areas of native broadleaves, including mature oak dating back to 1850. The property also features open ground and unplanted hill land, which adds to habitat diversity and provides areas for deer control. The site is accessible from the A815 and has a good road network within the forest. Due to the possibility of forest operations and deer management, viewing is strictly by prior arrangement only.
