The property, Lot 1, is a regular-shaped field of permanent pasture with naturally loamy soils, classified as Grade II/III. The land is set back from the A167 and has a well-maintained hardcore access track. A dilapidated old farm building, in a dangerous condition, is located on the western edge of the field, and a static caravan belonging to the Thirsk Model Club is also situated on the site. The club has agreed to vacate the site by September 30th. The property can be accessed via the access track, which is marked in green on the attached plan, although the legal access is outlined in yellow and is part of the registered title.
